The tickets for our living room concert with LEA were gone very very fast. And now we know why: LEA's voice and her songs have a highly addictive factor and many of her fans don't miss a concert. And it was her first time playing in Düsseldorf. No wonder the tickets where gone so quickly.
"Thank you for singing along. Hello Düsseldorf! I'm really happy to be here. My name is LEA." Is there a better way to open a living room concert? We say no.
After the charming welcoming of Sven, our one and only manager (who definitely already hummed constantly after the soundcheck), LEA opened the living room concert with "Wunderkerzenmenschen". And from then on Sven didn't have to hum alone anymore, because the audience sang along sensationally well. Thinking of it: BRAVO BRAVO BRAVO to our fantastic background singers. You guys did real good!
LEA has a large fan base and many have been following her wonderful work for more than 10 years. Since she stormed the YouTube charts overnight with her self-written song "Wo ist die Liebe hin?". She was 16 at the time, so she and her fans know each other for a long time.
LEA's voice has goosebumps quality and in her songs everyone can find a little bit of himself at some point. With her honest lyrics, she speaks from the soul of many people. She touches, sometimes makes you a little sad, but she also gives you a lot of courage. You don't feel caught, you feel understood. When you listen to LEA's songs, maybe just struggling with a heartache, you suddenly don't feel so alone anymore. Somehow lovingly embraced even.
But you don't need a heartbreak status to just love LEA's songs on first listening. And this seems to be the view of even her the youngest fans ♥
The little man will certainly be carrying this mega sweet grin around with pride for a very long time ♥
LEA's living room concert started with a lot of applause and ended with a lot of applause. No, with standing ovations and "MORE, MORE, MORE". There was also a very special wish from the audience: "Taub und blind". A song that LEA hadn't played for 8, 9 years, but released on YouTube at the age of 16. "I wrote it when I was 16 and would perhaps formulate one thing or another differently today, but that's not what it's all about today." Exactly! And we just loved it ♥
It was a beautiful living room concert and a great evening. Full of feeling and lots of great people. LEA's album "VAKUUM" already has its place in our lounge and is on a permanent loop.
LEA, IT WAS SO NICE TO HAVE YOU HERE. COME BACK SOON, WILL YOU?
